POC products are known for its high standard in design and construction and this helmet is no less. It doesn't feel too big or bulky on the head. Very comfortable. Didn't get to try it before purchase, but just took the risk and ordered it. And everything has been great.

POC is well known for its durable, lightweight, and perfect fit line-up. Amazing product. Best helmet I ever owned. The only downside is that the inside padding is mostly towards the front of the head, it feels a bit hard at the back. You forget this when riding.
I had a big crash into a tree with my first poc tectal helmet. I landed head first into a rock and the doctor that looked after my in the hospital said that if I wasn’t wearing a helmet then he was 90% sure that I wouldn’t be hear today. When we looked at the helmet after the crash you can see how it took most of the impact and saved my life. This is a great helmet and can’t recommend it enough
Hab gerade die erste Ausfahrt mit dem Tectal Spin gemacht und bin echt zufrieden.
Hatte ursprünglich den Specialized Ambush Angi und den TLD A2 im Visier, als ich beide beim lokalen Händler probiert hatte hab ich aber nein gesagt, der Specialized ist an den Schläfen einfach zu eng und der A2 gefiel mir einfach nicht, saß zu hoch bei mir.
Dann hab ich den Tectal einfach mal bestellt weil er mir eigentlich immer gut gefallen hat bei diversen YouTubern optisch.
Also ich behalte ihn, Gewicht fällt mir bei tragen nicht auf, sitzt sehr tief, was mir optisch und vom Sicherheitsgefühl sehr gut gefällt.

This is my second POC Tectal Race helmet after 3 years. I never look back since day one I used their products, from helmet to gloves, jersey to shorts and elbow guards to knee guards. They never fail me even once. Truly well made products from POC!
Great helmet but the helmet has been already opened and linings were glued. It seems the bolt that holds visor is not working properly because shim is absent. I don't know how to fix my visor because I can't fasten it and it rattles when riding.
Le casque a une finition très soignée et le noir brillant s’adapte très bien au design englobant avec de grandes aérations. La visière réglable est suffisamment longue pour bien protéger du soleil.
Le réglage du casque se fait très facilement par une molette de serrage à l’arrière. La boucle de serrage prend bien le tour de la tête et ne crée aucun point de compression. Le casque est parfaitement maintenu et aucun mouvement de flottement n’est perceptible. Après trois sorties, j’apprécie la ventilation (il faut quand même attendre les beaux jours) et les pads, toit en offrant une protection supplémentaire (système spin) offre un confort certain qui fait vite oublier le casque. Seul petit regret concerne la mentonnière qui aurait pu bénéficier d’une fine protection pour parfaire le contrat confort. Les systèmes de protection proposés, que je n’ai pu tester ainsi que la conception robuste et enveloppante de la coque sont rassurants. Une dépense qui est à la hauteur de la qualité du produit et qui me selbke être un très bon investissement.
